Beth Israel Services and Programs at the JCCGV

All BI Programs and Services will move to the JCCGV (41st and Oak) effective
Thursday, October 11, 2012 - 8 am with the Minyan Service
This means that no services or programs (except for the Ground Breaking Ceremony) will take place at BI after October 10, 2012.
Information will be posted at the JCCGV to assist you in finding the exact location of BI services and programs.

The BI Offices (general, staff, program school, and youth) will all be moving to the JCCGV effective Monday, October 15.
In order to effect the transition our offices will close at 5:00 pm Wednesday, October 10.
We will not be able to do any but the most urgent business until we reopen on
Monday, October 15 at 9:00 am.

Our General Phone Number will remain the same 604.731.4161
(fax 604.731.4989) for all departments and staff. We will check our voice mail during the move and respond for emergencies.

Our New Address, effective October 15, is
Suite 305 - 950 West 41st Avenue, Vancouver BC V5Z 2N7

There are three options available:
1. JCCGV members, with valid parking passes, can park in the lot at no charge.
2. Non JCCGV members can park in the lot and pay the appropriate parking rate.
3. Parking is available on the street at no cost.

Parking at no charge on the JCCGV lot will be available to everyone for Shabbat services on Friday night and Saturday and during services on major Jewish holidays.

At all other times the regulation listed above are in force.
Neither the BI or the JCCGV accept any responsibility for reimbursing any patrons, including BI members and staff, for any parking tickets they receive.

This transition move is very complex and stressful. Your patience and understanding, as we go through the transition and get settled, is most important. We will continue to deliver the very best in programs and services, from all our staff, in our new location, for the next two years. We thank the JCCGV for allowing us to share their premises.
