Lay Leadership Opportunities
Debby Fenson has been the Ba’alat Tefillah/Prayer leader and Torah reader, at Congregation Beth Israel since 2005. Debby’s responsibilities at Beth Israel include teaching and preparing Bar and Bat Mitzvah students and their families.
Congregation Beth Israel is largely lay led by members of the community. Debby schedules lay leaders for Shabbat and holiday services. Parnassim are dedicated to help our services run smoothly and make sure people get to the bimah at the right moment on Shabbat.
